A beautiful late 18th-century Georgian mahogany dressing table mirror on a stand. The mahogany mirror stands on turned bun feet and has a deep, rich colour. The mahogany veneer around the mirror has cracked over the centuries and this has been previously restored. The visible cracks just add to the charm, telling the beautiful tale of time. The swivel mirror can be adjusted by loosening and tightening the little brass knobs (later) on the sides of the mirror. The mirror plate is just stunning with a marvellous foxed pattern visible.
