A very fine late 19th-century, early 20th-century mahogany and gilt over mantle bevelled mirror in William Kent style with beautifully hand-carved foliate and floral side details. The top has a broken-arch swan neck pediment surrounding a central urn and is further decorated with finely carved gilt details and flowers. The bottom of the mirror has acanthus leaf scrolls and further flower decorations with egg & dart-carved decorations around the mirror. This bevelled mirror is of very fine quality with all gilt decorations hand carved from wood.
