A beautifully carved, substantial vintage (circa 1970's) Jamaican wooden plaque depicting the Jamaican coat of arms, surrounded by a bird of paradise to on each side. This is naively but very well carved and definitely of much better quality than a normal "tourist piece". I acquired this wonderful plaque from a gentleman who's late father in law worked in Jamaica in the 1970s. Upon his return to the United Kindom, his staff and colleagues presented him with the plaque on departure. DIMENSIONS: Height: 23" - 59cm Width 29 1/2" - 75cm
