19th-Century Mahogany Artist Revolving Stool
19th-Century Mahogany Artist Revolving Stool
A charming artist revolving stool in solid walnut dating from the mid-19th-century. This little chair with a turned spindle back is covered in a gentle blue leather seating with a brass stud surrounding and has a fantastic patina to the wood.
Condition: There is an earlier repair to the base of the stool situated underneath the revolving seat. This is visible at certain angles but does not at all detract from the wonderful charm and quality of the chair (please see photos). The repair is rock solid thus does not compromise the structural integrity of the stool.
