A lovely early 20th-Century copper plated and leather club fender coal box seat. The little seat's leather, on top, has a wonderful patina. Inside is a compartment for coal storage, kindling, matches or even a few bits of wood. The copper plate has been rubbed over the years with the base metal showing through in places but does not distract from the wonderful character and charm of this great little seat.
