A fantastic 19th century (1830-1850) Elm and Yew wood hoop back Gothic Windsor chair attributed to the Buckinghamshire area. The hoop back frames the Gothic arch design of the backrest. The arms with scroll and primitive carved ends on curved supports with elm seat. The chair has baluster-turned legs with crinoline stretcher.
