Excellent quality early 19th century William IV (circa 1830) reclining leather and mahogany library chair, very much in the manner of Gillows of Lancaster. The reclining back includes elegant, removable head supports on each side. There are signs of historical repair to the back legs but are only visible on close inspection. It does not detract from the elegance and quality of the chair.
