A wonderful carved mahogany octagonal Victorian occasional table. The tabletop is beautifully carved with grapevines on top and has a repeat pattern carved around the edge. The one side of the tabletop is hinged and lifts to reveal storage space, lined with a black velvet and lilac trim. All 8 side panels are carved in the same pattern with the 4 legs also carved in an “S” repeat pattern to each side of each leg. There are some later repairs to the table consistent with its age but is structurally sound. Truly a unique piece of furniture.
